ICCI Coffee House Attorney Mentor Program (CHAMP) is a free and informal group mentoring program centered on applying ICCM concepts to active cases. Session topics may include family law, criminal law, general litigation, high conflict cases, negotiation, mediation, applying attachment theory to law, personality theory for lawyers, applying the 4-Step Change Process model, and applying other ICCI counseling techniques. These sessions are open to all lawyers of any skill level. Some sessions may involve Co-mentors, and may be topic specific (check back for updates). The only requirement for attendance is to sign an agreement to keep client information confidential. RSVP is required. Participation is limited to 4 mentorees per session.
All sessions are hosted by Mark Baumann, J.D., who has 26 years experience of lawyering, mediating, judging, and problem solving in family, criminal, business, landlord-tenant, Native American law, and general litigation. His area of focus is now family law litigation and mediation, and professional development. CLE credits are not available.
